What We Do — and What We Don’t
Coastal Air Duct & Dryer Vent Services provides air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. That’s the full scope of our work. We do not perform HVAC repair, system installation, maintenance contracts, refrigerant handling, or any licensed HVAC trade work. There is no gray area here and no temptation to expand into your territory.
Our air duct cleaning follows DBPR-compliant methods. DBPR is Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, which sets standards for duct cleaning practices in the state. We use negative-air vacuum collection — a method that creates negative pressure in the duct system and captures debris at the source, rather than dislodging it into the living space. There’s no cutting into ductwork, no disassembly, and no damage to existing systems.
When We Find Something That Needs HVAC Attention
During a duct cleaning job, we sometimes notice things — damaged flex duct, signs of moisture, disconnected sections — that warrant attention from a licensed HVAC professional. When that happens, we tell the customer clearly what we observed and recommend they contact an HVAC company. If you’re a partner we trust, we refer them to you by name.
We don’t diagnose HVAC problems, we don’t speculate about causes, and we don’t attempt repairs. We note what we saw and pass the customer along to someone who can actually address it.
